 Welcome, I’m Bejana, or "B," a self-taught artist based in Boston, MA.

My work is a celebration of life’s beauty and a reflection of my ongoing growth. As a Black woman, I often encounter societal stereotypes of strength, intimidation, or aggression. Art is my refuge-

a means to express how I see the world and how I feel the world sees me. Through my creative process, I use expressions and colors to communicate emotions that words often cannot convey.

My art becomes a sanctuary, inviting viewers to connect with their own emotions and find meaning through their personal experiences.

I embrace a variety of mediums, including acrylics, oils, and digital formats. I reject the idea that limiting myself to a single medium would benefit my exploration and expression. Instead, I continually seek new ways to convey my vision and message.
